Once upon a time, in 2010, there was a Mexican horror film with cannibals that created quite a stir in Cannes and, pretty much, anywhere else; don't hurry to throw stones at the remake – the Americans kept the premise, rewrote the characters and raised the bar in terms of tension and fright.
