Partly gory homage to the classic The Wicker Man (1973), Ben Wheatley's second feature tells the story of a hitman who, a year after a botched job, takes on a new assignment but soon, what has started off as an easy task soon unravels, sending the killer into the heart of darkness. The film premiered at the South by Southwest Festival and was selceted in the official competitions and/or showcases of various film festivals such as Helsinki, Toronto, Vancouver, Stockholm, Rotterdam și Beaune.
